From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the hotel's remarkable ability to provide a serene atmosphere without any of the usual hustle and bustle associated with such a central location. Unparalleled Service and Amenities Every single staff member we encountered was incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with a genuine smile. The daily room cleaning was meticulous and perfect, reflecting a high standard of care. The front desk, whether in person or by phone, was incredibly efficient, even arranging deliveries directly to our room. We especially appreciated the small touches, like the complimentary bottled cold water available upon request, and the free fruit, coffee, and water offered each morning. The presence of both a bar and a restaurant on-site further enhanced our stay. A Truly Exceptional Stay What truly sets this hotel apart is its European standard of service and cleanliness, something we've come to appreciate and expect. The impeccable cleanliness throughout the hotel, coupled with the reliability of all services (including transportation arrangements), made for a truly seamless experience. Everyone here genuinely seems to care, making you feel completely looked after. We had two connecting rooms, which made our stay with children incredibly comfortable and enjoyable. This hotel is, without a doubt, the best I've experienced in New York City, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly outstanding and worry-free stay.

The James New York No Mad was in a great location in Manhattan. Everything that we wanted to do nearby or easy transport links. Staff were helpful and polite when we got there. Was a nice touch with wine and savoury pastries early evening between 5-6pm. Unfortunately, sometimes the pastries in the afternoon were gone before you got there. There were morning pastries and hot refreshments in the morning between 7-9am unfortunately again, we had to be quick with the pastries as they would run out fast. The hotel itself is clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and clean to sleep on, and the bathroom was clean, getting a little wear and tear in places. A nice touch of welcome amenities on the first day. It was very helpful that you could store your suitcase with reception before and after check in and out. But it was a nice stay.

I LOVED the fact that the room was very bright and white and modern, rather than some of the dark, heavy wood walled hotels. The hotel location was very convenient for our needs. The staff was just so lovely and sent me up a piece of birthday cake and bottle of wine for my 60th birthday! It was such a lovely surprise. And all the staff was especially friendly and nice, front desk, etc. The evening wine and hot chocolate bar, the morning coffee....all of these amenities were wonderful. The hotel was also beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays, so cozy and festive! The doormen were always super helpful in getting our taxis and Ubers, really exceptional people there.
